Roel invited me to take a look behind the scenes during the filming of "Redbad".
It was a cold and rainy day, but there was plenty to see — knights, horses, fire (Roel loves his action).
There’s something magical about film sets. You get to see how everything’s put together, how the illusions happen. It’s a mix of chaos and precision, with a team making a whole new world come alive. It’s kind of like painting a canvas where every detail has to fit just right.
Behind every epic scene, there’s a chaotic, creative, and perfectly organized mess. I actually love that part. It’s probably the best bit of the movie you never get to see.
